The world class instructors, the state-of-the-art facility, the friendly surroundings and housing, makes the program a unique experience for aspiring young dancers. Students participating at the Summer Intensive A of ages 18 -24 will be con-sidered for the Professional Ballet Internship Program with Ballet Frontier of Texas. Curriculum includes, Summer Intensives (ages 10 & up): These programs are ballet-based intensives for the serious pre-professional dancers. Dancers participate in daily classes in bal-let, pointe, variation, classical repertoire, modern and jazz. Summer Workshops (ages 3-10): Throughout the week-long work-shops, our young dancers will explore creative movement and musicality in a safe and nurturing environment. Texas Ballet Theater
Texas Ballet Theater Schools Summer Camps & Intensives
June 25-July 14

Texas Ballet Theater School’s Summer Intensive emphasizes technique, artistic expression and musicality necessary to prepare well-rounded, classically trained dancers for a company career. Students ages 12-21 will experience five weeks of dedicated training on the campus of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
Daily classes are held in the newly renovated TCU School for Classical and Contemporary Dance. Curriculum includes ballet technique, pointe work, men’s class, variations and jazz. Additional classes include pas de deux (by invitation only), modern, and Latin ballroom, with dance-related studies such as nutrition, injury pre-vention, career planning, and Pilates. Accepted students may choose between our five-week program (June 25-July 27) and three-week program (June 25 – July 14). Five-week students will perform in a showcase at the conclusion
of the intensive, and three-week students
may invite family and friends to observe
classes on July 13-14. Limited space is
available in the three-week program.
Students who attend the Summer
Intensive may apply for the Professional
Division of the Texas Ballet Theater
School. Those completing the five-week
program are considered for the
Professional Division, as well as trainee or Dallas
apprentice positions with Texas Ballet
Theater. Over 60% of current Texas Ballet Theater company dancers have been selected from the Summer Intensive or Professional Division. Your little one is in for a summer of fun at the official school of Texas Ballet Theater in Dallas & Fort Worth. Our Ballet Basics camps for ages 3-6 are taught by professional instructors with focus on ballet, music, movement and imagination! Choose one or more weeks with camp themes, Fantastic Fairytales and Dance Around the World. Young Dancer & Junior Intensives are specifically designed for serious dancers ages 7-13.
